Vanessa Alarcón

Vanessa Alarcón has served as an elder since 2018. Previously, she served as the Church Clerk (2018-2023) and the Faith Engagement Pastor (2019-2021) at the Boulder Church. 

 Vanessa has been actively involved in church ministries primarily related to youth and women’s ministries in her local church, conference, and the union. Vanessa currently sits on the Rocky Mountain Conference Executive Committee and the North-American Division Women's Advisory Committee. 

She is a proud graduate of Andrews University, where she received her undergraduate degree in psychology and her masters in social work.  Vanessa is a licensed clinical social worker, licensed addictions counselor and services in community behavioral healthcare administration. 

She is married to Ricky Alarcón, who is also a licensed clinical social worker. Both grew up in pastoral families that moved frequently so they are happy to call Colorado their home until Jesus returns.
